After playing Peter's route in Anniversary and Joker, I felt like his character got a bit toned down in Joker.  He's really lovey-dovey towards Alice all the time, but not as obsessive/crazy/stalkerish as he was in Heart/Anniversary.  Needless to say, I still enjoyed his sweet persona even though it gets a little bland at times.

Also, I'm going to warn you all that this is a REALLY long entry-- my longest one that is.  I ended up having to shorten it down a lot when I was reformatting and proofreading it.  I had to take out the intro (which can be read http://kaho-yukimura.livejournal.com/36384.html#cutid1 ) and all the Joker events, because the entry was literally too long for me to post.  I tried to make my summaries as detailed as possible for those of you who can not play the game, but if you would like me to shorten it down next time, then please let me know in the comments section.

Hi!


It's been a while since I made one of these lj posts, but I return bearing good news: I'm finally done with Peter's summary!!  All I need to do is go back and proof read some of the stuff I wrote for the events. 

I know people don't generally ask for beta readers for things like summaries, but writing is definitely not one of my strengths so I try to make it a point to reread and proof read my summaries multiple times before I actually post them.  Peter's summary in particular ended up being ridiculously long-- and by long, I mean I had to literally divide his summary into two separate posts (a lot of cgs and over +10k words I think?).  I'm beginning to think I made his summary a little too long but I try to make them as detailed as possible for those who do not have access to the game.

So if anyone is willing to look over it and help me to make my summary better, then please comment or send me a pm.  My goal is to get this out by either this weekend or early next week.

I was browsing through lj today and found out that someone had already done a review for Julius' route.   They've also left a detailed Nightmare summary on their lj with details of the friendship route and circus events.

I'm not sure how I missed this before, but I guess there's no point in me doing a detailed Julius summary, seeing as someone has already done it. O.o;  Well if you guys would still like me to do it then I won't mind, but if you can't wait then you can go there for the summary.

Well, I still plan on doing Peter's summary sometime by the end of this month.  I've also gotten a few requests for Pierce, but I honestly don't know if I'll be able to do it anymore.  Still working 25/7. D8 -jumps off cliff-

I don't have much to say in conclusion for Nightmare's route, other than the fact that I really enjoyed it.  Coming straight from Heart, I always visualized Nightmare as a more mysterious and powerful figure in Wonderland, so playing his route in Joker was quite an experience for me.  It was interesting seeing him outside of Dream Realm and discovering his goofy side.

Anyways, if you're looking for a more aggressive bishie and craving hot, steamy scenes than this is not the route for you.  I liked how QR portrayed Nightmare to be sweet and gentle towards Alice, and still keep his scary side through his protectiveness for her.  But sometimes it felt like Nightmare was lacking... initiative (?) s

Please read Gray's summary before you read Nightmare's.  Both routes share the same prologue and a number of events since the two are both from Clover Tower.  I won't be going into detail with the Joker events either.

I don't know if anyone still reads my journal, but I know I said that the next route summary (Nightmare's) would be up around Christmas.  Unfortunately, I've been a bit busy with the holidays.

Okay, well that part wasn't really true but rather I took a small break from the game.  xDD Heart no kuni no Alice is still my main fandom, but it's really easy to get bored/tired of a game you can't really understand, so hence the break.  But a promise is a promise,  so I'll do my best to get Nightmare's route up by the end of the week.  Peter's summary will be up in about a week or so after I get Nightmare's done.  Here's my progress with the game:

1. Nightmare - 95% finished
2. Peter - 45% finished
   
3. Julius - Starting...

I can't guarantee anything beyond that but I'll definitely get Toybox no Kuni no Alice when that comes out and post summaries for that too.  I don't care how many allnighters I have to pull in order to squeeze in time for gaming, but ho lawd when Toybox comes out--- the very life force shall be sapped from my very being! xD Haha, words of a true gamer.

I've also been working on some fanart lately.  I'm not very good at drawing but I've somehow been improving by leaps and bounds as of late. O-o;;  So expect some fanart, and WIPs spams later on too.

Also, I'm still iffy on when I'll get Anniversary no Kuni no Alice, but I'll be sure to post summaries for that too once I get it.  I never finished Heart because even WITH the translations, the game was very hard to understand and the artwork, well--- sucked at that point. xD In short, I got bored of the game very quickly so hopefully Anniversary will make up for that. O.o

I bought the Alice Archives Greencover book back a few months ago and loved it.  I got my copy from a website called, PlayAsia, and got it in about 2-3 weeks.

Despite his role in the Mafia, Elliot has a pure heart and is very gentle and caring towards Alice.  Outside of their friendship, Elliot holds strong platonic feelings for Alice and completely adores her.  She definitely manages to bring out his softer side.  At the beginning of his route,  Elliot would always be giddy and happy around Alice, and shower her in affection ( though, not to Peter's extent).

Like Gray,  Elliot's attitude was very reserved towards Alice.  I felt that the development of their romance was a little slow but the two went on more than enough cute dates, so I won't complain.


Also, I won't go in depth about all the Joker events and prologue .  So if you haven't read my Gray summary yet, then you should read that first because the details for that stuff are posted there.

Overall, I feel like Gray's route was a bit... slow, perhaps?  I skipped over Clover so I'm not familiar with Gray, but his route in Joker no Kuni no Alice felt like it was lacking romance.  While the two did go on a number of dates together, I feel it took too long for a romantic relationship to progress, but when it DID actually pick up, it was towards the end so I felt that there wasn't enough romance compared to the other routes.

Also the poor soul gets trolled a lot! xD He's such a gentleman so it's funny sad to see him get put down so much. He get's trolled almost in every other event by every other character (trolled by his own BOSS, by his own GF, Vivaldi, Ace, Julius,) just to name a few... But all in all, it was good lulz so I ain't complainin'. :U
